What is RPX?
RPX Inc. (주식회사 알피엑스) is a K-derma brand house in Seoul that runs DERMAGRID and RADIDERM. With formulas grounded in skin science and marketing driven by data, it grows its brands in-house, from concept to global expansion. RPX built its own AI system, RPX Formula Gate, to evaluate formula candidates against one standard. Its products are made by licensed Korean cosmetic manufacturers. It was founded in June 2026, and its CEO is Labin Kim.
Who founded RPX?
RPX was founded in June 2026 by Labin Kim (김라빈). Kim studied biological sciences at KAIST and, at RPX, sets the formula direction, works with the manufacturers, and designed and built Formula Gate. Before RPX, Kim planned and ran an online math platform for Korea’s college entrance exam.
What brands does RPX have?
Two. DERMAGRID is a global derma skincare brand grounded in skin science; its first line, a serum and a cream for blemish-prone skin, is in development. RADIDERM is a derma brand focused on dark spot care; its Melapase Intensive Cream and Melapase Intensive Ampoule are sold at the official store, radiderm.co.kr.
Which company is behind RADIDERM, and where can I buy it?
RADIDERM is a brand of RPX Inc. (주식회사 알피엑스). The Melapase Intensive Cream (25 ml) and Melapase Intensive Ampoule (30 ml) are available at the official store, https://radiderm.co.kr.
What is DERMAGRID?
DERMAGRID is RPX Inc.’s global derma skincare brand, grounded in skin science. Each product is designed to answer exactly one skin concern. The first line, a serum and a cream for blemish-prone skin, is in development, and the DERMAGRID trademark is registered in Korea (application No. 40-2026-0124970).
What is RPX Formula Gate?
RPX Formula Gate is an internal system built by RPX. It evaluates the cosmetic formula candidates our manufacturers send us against one set of criteria, and records which formula was chosen and why. It has been in use since September 2026, starting with RADIDERM Melapase Intensive Cream. The method is the subject of Korean patent application No. 10-2026-0185990.
What does AI do in Formula Gate?
AI extracts the ingredient list from the manufacturer’s documents and writes item-level evaluation opinions. Scoring and regulatory checks are handled by code against fixed criteria. People decide which formula goes forward. The formulas themselves are created by the manufacturer’s lab.
Does RPX manufacture its own products?
No. Products are made by licensed Korean cosmetic manufacturers (OEM/ODM). RPX handles brand planning and formula evaluation, and is the responsible seller under Korean cosmetics law. For example, RADIDERM Melapase Intensive Cream is manufactured by 주식회사 엠앤코스 and sold by RPX Inc.
Is RPX Inc. the same company as RPX Corporation in the United States?
No. RPX Inc. is not affiliated with RPX Corporation, the U.S. patent risk management company. RPX Inc. is a K-derma brand house founded in Seoul in 2026.
